Gifted and Talented

We are having fun getting to know one another more in third and fourth grade GT.  We are working on research projects and will post them soon.  I had the opportunity to go with a few of my first and second grade classes to the Hot Spring County Fair.  We learned alot about animals, their habitats, and other things in our community.

Teacher - Brigette Jones

Students in grades K-2 will come to Gifted and Talented once a week.  They will participate in enrichment activities that will encourage them to think outside the box and learn problem solving techniques.  

In grades 3-4, those students identified as Gifted and Talented will receive 2 1/2 hours per week in the GT classroom.  They will participate in project based learning activities, learn to play chess, participate in Quiz Bowl, compete in the Science Fair and much more.
