I started teaching at this school in 2004. I currently teach science and social studies through nonfiction reading.

Before I started teaching at Malvern, I worked in the grocery store business. I worked in mangement for over 17 years. I also worked for Xerox and at the HSC Medical Center in the business office. I later became a graduate of OTC and began to teach algebra and english in their summer bridge program. I started teaching at Malvern Elementary School in 2004.

I have been married to a wonderful husband for over twenty years. We have a daughter in college. Together my husband and I have 5 grown children and 2 grandchildren.

My hobbies are reading, singing and painting. I am a Christian who is family oriented and loves people. I really enjoy what I do and love watching students learn.
